Integrating Conflict Resolution Education Skills and Techniques Into the Classroom

Planning Tools and Forms for Individual Educators and Curriculum Planning Available Online
One of the main goals of conflict resolution education (CRE) training for educators is to have them apply these skills and concepts into their current or future classrooms through curriculum integration and as a classroom management strategy. Ideally, school personnel might also work together as a team to create a comprehensive school conflict management program.
While the planning tools included in the module are specifically for individual educators to help develop a plan for their classrooms, additional information for whole school planning can be downloaded at no cost from the Managing and Resolving Conflicts Effectively in Schools and Classrooms 5 day course developed for the United States Department of Education (USDE) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).

Planning Tools and Forms:
The forms in the module may be distributed at intervals during the 4 day Conflict Resolution Education in Teacher Education (CRETE) training by the Instructor and utilized in conjunction with the training manuals. However, the forms can be downloaded, printed and used on a daily basis to set up your school plan.

The Planning tools include:
- An Application Work Sheet
- Recommendations of resources, activities and teaching guides
- Conflict Resolution Education Action Plan – Classroom Management Plan
- Sample Curriculum Integration Action Plan
- Conflict Resolution Education Action Plan – Curriculum Integration
- Comprehensive Plan Notes (Optional)
